Where We Tell Your Story!
MAGGIE THE MIRACLE DOG!
We here at Designer Dog Creations are all about examples of rebirth and renewel.
But we weren't prepared for this one.
We met Maggie and her owners Elise and Laird at the Longwood Arts Festival. Maggie's beaming smile stole our hearts, but then we heard her story...
Maggie wandered up to Elise and Laird's back porch last Easter. It was the perfect day for what happened.
Turned out Maggie was lost. Way lost. And a long, long, long, long, long, long way from home.
When Elise took Maggie to the Vet to see if she had a chip to identify where she was from, the Vet had some shocking news.
Maggie was from Norway!
Elise and Laird had the Vet fix her up, and they began nursing her back to health, pouring on the love. She's doing great now, a true Easter dog.
Elise and Laird got Maggie a Joseph's Coat of Many Colors Feeder. A perfect choice for a dog that is the embodiment of second-chances against all odds.
Living And Loving To The Limit!
Meet Jackson, a handsome Golden Retriever who lives and loves to the limit.
If you didn't know better, you'd think Jackson was a puppy. That's what we thought when he sort of dragged his owner David Brim over to our tent at the Longwood Arts Festival.
(Jackson had his eyes on some toys we'd stacked in one of our handcrafted Treasure Boxes!)
Turns out Jackson's a grown man in Doggie Years. That doesn't stop him from embracing every minute.
We're glad we met Jackson and his owner David. The next day, David brought his wife, Lindsay, to meet us. She runs a charity called Cross Roads Corral.
Lindsay's mission is to help returning Veterans and children overcome trauma through interactions with horses. Caring for them, riding them, just being around them.
Hey, animals have souls—how else to explain how good they are for our souls?
Restoration is what we love most here at Designer Dog Creations, so we want to shout out a cheer of admiration for Lindsay and David. Here's a link to the website:
And thanks to Jackson for bringing such a great story to our attention!
