"Ladies and Gentlemen, this dates from the 18th Century. It was made by an Italian wood worker who also composed sonatas of some repute—though sadly without ever writing them down. He travelled across the Atlantic to investigate the new republic, becoming fast friends with George Washington. He made this piece for George Washington's favorite dog named Liberty-la-le. Pronounced quickly, as one word."
